ABOUT
BIO
Nalia Ziku creates cinematic sound worlds that move between theatre, music and film.
A multidisciplinary artist based in Athens, she works across performance, sound dramaturgy and multimedia storytelling, building hybrid forms where the stage meets the screen and sound becomes the central narrative force.
Her work combines original music, layered vocal composition, live sound manipulation and video projections, creating immersive experiences where performance and cinematic language dissolve into one.
As part of the Production Department of the Greek National Opera (Alternative Stage), she develops and executes large-scale cultural projects while simultaneously cultivating her own independent artistic universe.
She is the creator of FEMINANCE, a cinematic fiction podcast series officially selected and honored at Greek film and sound festivals, and co-founder of the feminist ensemble FAMA, producing bold postmodern theatre and audiovisual works including The Souvlaki Project.
Through each project, whether a podcast, performance, film or concept album, she explores multiplicity, constructed identities and the fragile tension between intimacy and spectacle.
